Admission
Criteria
All potential admissions will be evaluated
by the Behavioral Management Director and/or
interdisciplinary team
Individuals must be at least twenty-one
years old for admission to the unit
The resident must have a primary medical
diagnosis with secondary psychiatric diagnosis
of such severity that long-term placement
is indicated
Pre-admission evaluation involves direct
patient assessment and history taking
Diagnoses may include, but are not limited
to: depression, schizophrenia, psychosis,
bipolar disorders and other related disorders |
