The Lighthouse Unit at Kent Healthcare Center is a secure unit for patients experiencing symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease or related disorders. We specialize in long term and short term stays. Dementia care is delivered by trained professionals who are dedicated to serving the needs of an individual by providing supportive and modern medical treatment. Our focus is the resident’s comfort and peace of mind. Recognizing that different people have different needs, we take a highly personalized approach in addressing the changing physical and psychological needs to each resident. We promote independence and focus on wellness by offering a mix of life skills through group activities and structured programs. Activities are tailored toward individual preferences, with a focus on positive, enjoyable interest that meets the needs of our residents.
