CommuniCare Family of Companies Announces Expansion in West Virginia and Southeast Ohio as New Operators of Stonerise

BLUE ASH, Ohio – CommuniCare Health Services, a family-owned company specializing in post-acute care, takes over operations of Stonerise, a leader in transitional support and care across West Virginia and Ohio, and its 17 healthcare centers, seven home health agencies, and affiliated therapy and hospice Services. These additions expand CommuniCare’s footprint to more than 110 healthcare centers across seven states and resident bed count to nearly 14,000.

With the addition of Stonerise, CommuniCare furthers its mission of cultivating welcoming and healing environments that deliver high-quality care, led by medical experts and compassionate caregivers. Stonerise is known for its vast network of support services, including transitional and skilled nursing care; therapy; home health care and hospice.
