Eight new centers join the family of companies in Maryland and Virginia as of May 1st, 2017

CINCINNATI, Ohio (May 4th, 2017) –CommuniCare Health Services welcomed eight new healthcare centers to its family in Maryland and Virginia, increasing its ability to offer specialized post-acute care to residents most in need.

As of May 1st, seven healthcare centers and one assisted living center joined the Communicare family of companies. Cumberland Healthcare Center, Commons at Cumberland Assisted Living, Hagerstown Healthcare Center, Westminster Healthcare Center, Sleepy Hollow Healthcare Center, Cedars Healthcare Center, Petersburg Healthcare Center, and Battlefield Park Healthcare Center became a part of CommuniCare. The facilities names and addresses are as follows:

  • Hagerstown Healthcare Center: 750 Dual Highway, Hagerstown, MD 21740

  • Sleepy Hollow Healthcare Center: 6700 Columbie Pike, Annadale, VA 22003
  • Cedars Healthcare Center: 1242 Cedars Court, Charlottesville, VA 22901
  • Petersburg Healthcare Center: 287 South Blvd, Petersburg, VA 23805
  • Battlefield Park Healthcare Center: 250 Flank Road, Petersburg, VA 23805

The recent additions increased the total number of healthcare centers operated by CommuniCare to 60 in six states, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Missouri, and Virginia.
