National Skilled Nursing Care Week

Nurse and patient celebrating Nurse's Week

Every year during the week following Mother’s Day, skilled nursing facilities across the country celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week, which recognizes the essential role of skilled nursing care facilities in America’s healthcare system. Skilled nursing facilities play a vital role in caring for older adults and people with disabilities and have held a longstanding commitment to providing the highest quality of care for those that come through their doors.

This year’s National Skilled Nursing Care Week theme is “Creating and Nurturing Connections,” a great reflection of the core values at CommuniCare. With communities across seven states, our facilities create a holistic environment where our residents can thrive. Together, our residents, their families, our employees, vendors, and community come together to make meaningful connections that foster hope and healing. It is through connection that we build strong, lasting relationships and make a difference in the world.

From our residents, who are our number one priority in everything we do, to our incredible employees who go above and beyond each day, to our community partners providing essential services to our facilities, we could not do what we do without each essential piece — and the collaboration that takes place amongst them. Thank you for making CommuniCare a wonderful place for our residents to receive care.
